Thai Tribal Crafts Fair Trade invites you to learn the traditional back-strap weaving techniques of the Hill Tribes of Northern Thailand.
At the end of your three-hour course, you’ll have a small keepsake of traditional Thai woven cloth that you’ll be able to say you made yourself. Customers have turned them into charming basket linings, wall hangings, or table squares.
You’ll learn each step of the traditional weaving methods of the local tribes, as taught by a tribal instructor.
Class sizes are limited to 3 students per session, with morning and afternoon classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each class has their own instructor and translator.
For 1200THB per person, your three-hour class session includes refreshments and a free gift.
If you would like a longer class, two consecutive class sessions are offered for 2200THB.
To book a spot in a class, please contact Thai Tribal Crafts Fair Trade by email at [email protected]. Advanced payment is required and not refundable.
