The well-travelled individual is significantly a lot more likely to accept situations which could possibly trigger main changes in their lives, too as have a significantly broader concept of the world as a whole.

People think that what's holding them back from traveling or taking risks is some financial idea of stability and well being, but it's really fear of losing their comfortable material life, whatever that may be for them.

I never imagined there was a book about obstacles about traveling. Without reading the book I can guess many obstacles why so difficult to travel is. For example, lack of capital, family, children etc. Fear to some places. ETC. But I believe the most common cause is the lack of money.

You have no idea, Britt. I would think that 99% of all books of this kind, including anything in the realm of "self-help" are largely unnecessary for the kind of person who will just go and do stuff, like you. And even among all the people it could help (everyone else), at least 99% of them won't ever actually do anything with the information. Whether about travel or any other aspect of life outside the norm.

People can read all the Tony Robbins books they can get their hands on, but it won't actually help them if they don't do anything with the information. So yes, this is a way to bitchslap people into action.

It seems so strange that there is a book about this. I mean, don't people know their excuses are excuses? I am not sure I totally believe that people who *really* want to travel the world believe in their heart of hearts they cannot. Google works very well. If you can use a computer, you will find someone with a lifestyle or situation exactly like yours who is off and traveling.

Then again, I have not read the book so maybe he approaches things more psychologically. Or maybe he just bitch-slaps sense into people. Sometimes that is all you need to get moving.

I'm gad you like the blog. I think you'll like the book, from looking around your site a bit. He has done a lot to help travelers and has a lot of good information on his site too.

I'll be following along on your blog and on Twitter, so let me know if I can help with anything too!

Hey james this is my first time around here I think it's pretty cool that we have so many things in common any time you want to chat around about how you are doing in your journey and if you ever have any questions hit me up usmanwilson@gmail.com

Anyway, I think I am going to buy this book I am sure I probably know what some of those obstacles are but I sure want to contribute to him for taking the time to compile them together for others I am going to send some readers his way now.

Okay you take care keep up the great post!
